Members of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints believe in polygamy. This group of people live in a large ranch in Eldorado , Texas. Recently, a man was accused of raping a 15 year old. Reports of child abuse, marriage between young women and older men, rape, etc. have prompted the police to raid the ranch. So far, 401 children and 133 women are in shelter.
This group’s polygamy is based on their religion. Do you believe that in America, we have the right to interfere with another group’s religious beliefs? Polygamy is illegal in America. What about the marriage between a minor and older man?

Hello all of you guys!! Wow, I could not bieleve about this Fundamentalist Church, and that is not correctly with men that whom are raping with young girls, It is real bad things to do, but I assuming that their bieleve about marriages with young females. I am 100 percentings disagree with that. It's America and I think they should have to follow the laws and I want an America stopped that because it is not correctly things to do that, I think all young females are afraid to getting hurts, and abused by 50 years old males. I do know that a big mistake things to do that, so I knew that little girls are afraid and wont admitted, but I am glad that a 16 years old female had begun reported to police officers and told them about this. Then police officers have a right to go in, so the officers took all kids out of this places and might be able to go to FOSTER home to have false parents.
I am strong DISAREE with this, A HUGE MISTAKE things to do.

I'm very, very agaisnt Fundamentalish religious because that too many one person sex many wife. Then womens born more many children. Then children must same group family cause born new baby will be disable because same blood and not good ideas! Also, 50 year old men want marry young girls about 15 year old. My opion is she have decide own marry. I didn't like he did forus to marry to her. That very, very, very, very gross!!! I am wish the Fundamentalist Church not there or they didn't set-up. Damn! I'm disagree polygamy because men isn't fair for women. Only men can marry any women and women have to respect to her a husband. Women can't marry any men but only one husband. Warren Steed Jeffs was abuse and rape young girl, she was only 14 years old. He was out of jail then sign the form for promise to not rape or abuse women or hide age. But he was break the laws that he did to their children and wives. He have 133 wives and 401 children, and he didn't right for God. Jeez, what in the hell is going on in this world. I apologize for the language I just said, but when I read the Fundamentalist Church explanation, it really made me very mad. Sometime, you just have to let it out, even throught you don't mean it. Anyway,according to this subject, I can't even believe that the young girls were being rape. I mean; why in the world was "raped" came up to this humanity. It's not even right. Another thing I didn't like was a minor marrying an older person. Not just old men whom marry younger girl. Older women also married younger boys. In American, I believe a congress should make a new law, a law whether a man or a woman wants to get married must be the same age, because with all this conflict I'm hearing is just kind of mess up. Oh, the last thing I didn't forget, child abused. This is the part I really hate about. Many parent in world are abusing their own kids. The last report on the news I heard about was a 4 years old female, who wore a electric collar, which is for dog training. The child died from something with the nerve probelm. The parent were sent to prison for life. I was very glad about that and of course, very sad about what happen to the little girl. If parent do not want to care of their child, then I believe they should put them in a foster home. I disagree with this. Man cant get polygamying because United States forbid it. United State's law must marry one person. Man have many wife. United States have rights to enter and arrest that man. because the man is on United States. The 16year old have rights to call. My opinion is, America can stop the religion, if this religion was very abusive, oppressive. This religion have no right to be abusive and oppresive. But if this religion show no adusive or oppressive, then america have no rights to stop this religion.
My opinion about older man marry with minor. I think it was very wrong. But if this minor person want to. Then it is their decided. But this issues, this 50 years old man may forced this minor woman to marry him. No prove, but I think about marry with minor is wrong. But if agreed to do, then fine..

I reserve the right to worship where, what, and who I may, and yes, I believe that religious freedoms should be protected. However, I do not believe that religion should infringe upon a persons human rights. If a young girl is forced into a polygamist marriage, she unknowingly, and many times unwillingly, gives up her freedoms. Religion is suppose to be a set of beliefs, rites, and celebrations that focus on a supreme being. I believe that polygamy is a form of enslavement, and if you are born into it, you can never leave.
I'm surprise that he trying to be rape with 15 year old girl but it's illegeal and they would to be arrested Dave to put in the prison for forever until deaf or older. Everytime I hear news like this, like parents hurt their child cause death, parents poinsion their food and they die, drown thier kids, kidnap kids, really, world needs wise up and world needs more control, more consquence toward to their action. Prison teaches them nothing but fun, they don't care if they are lock up, atleast still watch t.v. still talking to someone, still have bed, still have 3 meal, they should work more harder to earn the meals, the bed, the t.v., why? I believe people who harm others should face worse nighmare too, make them learn, and feel impaction.
